The VMAs Need To Be Canceled

Does anyone else remember when the VMAs were actually cool and relevant? When they actually put everyone in one auditorium, had awesome performances and everyone showed up? Those were the days.... Now the VMAs are trying TOO HARD to be cool. MTV thinks we need performances at ALL TIMES going on in 5 different places. What happened to putting people on the main stage and letting them fucking rock it? Britney Spears gave 4 awesome performances in the old format, 2003 was the last year (the one with Madona) and then when they changed it, look what happened. Someone needs to tell MTV that they really arent as cool and fresh as they think they are being. The show just looks confused and disorganized. How trashy does it look to have the PCDs accept an award on the floor of the auditorium huddled around a mic right in front of the audience? This looked like a high school production as opposed to a million dollar special. How many people were in that auditorium last night? 100? Thats what it looked like. That stage was so small, no wonder only 3 out of the 10 or so performers actually used it. So please MTV, go back to what you know, what works, and stop trying so hard, its not working.

24 Taking ANOTHER Break

24 has stopped filming AGAIN! They are going to rethink things they claim but the November prequel wont be affected. They had a WHOLE YEAR to think about things during the writers strike, that wasnt good enough? They think a few more months is going to make it better now?

"We had a couple of scripts that we weren't happy with," he told the magazine. "We just couldn't get this direction to work, and we found another one that we liked better, so we wound up retooling it. ... Our feeling was this: We're so happy with what we've done so far, and to the extent that we had that luxury [of time], we said, 'Why not make it as good as we could?'"

This show is dangerously close to losing its fans. I was a fan from the begining and I didnt watch last season because it just wanst very good and delays in production are never a good sign.

Oprah To Guest Star On 30 Rock!

Jennifer Aniston, check, Oprah? Check! Oprah will appear on an episode of 30 Rock. I hope they dont start Will & Gracing it with a new celeb every week. This show makes it work a little better because its about TV but still. I think it will be fun.

Multi-tasking In The Power Bitch World

Im still watching The Hills. I hate myself. Thankfully this episode didnt feature Heidi and Spencer. I have to wonder how much of this show is fake (I know, all of it) but still, breaking up with someone on camera is a little harsh. All in all nothing really happened this episode...hopefully I wont be watching next week. (I will)

Prison Break...

If any show was in need of a title change, this is the show. Michael even states in the first episode that they are a long way from where they started. Aint that the truth. I stopped watching last season after they killed Sarah. There was just no point in watching the show for me anymore since the only characters I cared about were Michael and Sarah. But when I heard that she was coming back I decided to tune in. They just kinda threw away the reason she was alive. I mean he saw a head, but it could have been anyone!! But I digress...the premiere was pretty good. I liked how all Michael cared about was finding Sarah and that they addressed it pretty quickly. I hate T-Bag and want him dead. Lincoln still goes around without buttoning his shirt and so on and so on, things really havent changed. The only issue I had was with the fact that the producers must think that tatoo removal is a one stop shop. It takes MONTHS and many sessions to remove a tatoo and even then there is somewhat of a scar left. Im sure Michael has no scars. The previews for this season look good. I looks like they are going to have fun this year with it, which is what I think they should do. If this is the last year, they need to have some fun and not make it all melodramatic. Seeing Sarah all sexed up indicates that something fun is going down. Thoughts?

Bitches On The Cover Of EW!

Dont they just look pissed? HA! I think its funny that just they are the only two on the cover when they are in the show for about 3 minutes. Kelly Taylor maybe in it more than Brenda Walsh, but still, they are not the stars of the show and they made the cover. Its interesting because of the post I made a few days ago about how they should have made the whole show ABOUT THEM in the first place! No one needs to see spoiled rich kids cry, have sex and do drugs...not necessarily in that order. They need to reshoot the series with just the old cast memebers and then Ill watch. Maybe they will retool the show after a few episodes when they realize im right and no one is watching.
